Day 1 :
The starting point of our trip is the city of Longyearbyen, where the airport of the same name is located. This is the most northern airport in the world offering regular services.
Longyearbyen is located on the main island of the Svalbard archipelago, called Spitsbergen.
We’ll meet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel.
Days 2 to 8 :
On the 2nd day, you’ll embark on the Valiente, your floating base camp for this expedition.
It’s the peak season of the famous “Midnight Sun” and you’ll enjoy days when the sun never completely disappears. After settling into your cabins and discovering the boat, you’ll meet the crew and guides. We’ll have the safety briefing and also cover instructions concerning life on the boat.
Afterwards, we’ll set sail to Isfjorden, admiring the immaculate universe surrounding us. We’ll sail towards the north of Spitsbergen, a wild region where we’ll be completely alone for the next few days.
For the next 7 days we’ll sail through the meandering fjords of Spitsbergen in search of the best areas and the most beautiful ski slopes.
Of course our ski adventures will be accompanied by other activities. We’ll be able to go kayaking, do zodiac excursions to observe the local wildlife or explore small islands.
Throughout your stay, the chef will be on hand to concoct excellent, hot, invigorating meals.
Day 9 :
We’ll return to Longyearbyen harbor, returning from our escapade in an idyllic and isolated world. Then, it’ll be time to catch your return flight.
