Just below the Arctic Circle on the west coast of Greenland, lays the region of Maniitsoq and the small town of the same name. This Inuit land which we‘ll explore is surrounded by high mountains, glaciers and ice tongues.
Its spring, mid-April, when we’ll meet you on the ice floes, watched over by strangely shaped icebergs and ready for endless descents plunging down to the fjords. In this strikingly dramatic landscape, the infinite but diverse ski terrain remains wild.
You’ll traverse glaciers, valleys and narrow gullies covered in perfect powder, with an added bonus of an almost 24 hour day! A breathtaking adventure.

Our base camp is located in Maniitsoq, a small island of around 3000 inhabitants, which is easily accessible by plane. The town is typical of Greenland, with charming, colourful houses.
It has a modern hospital and all the facilities of a small town (supermarkets, post office, bank…).
The 3-star hotel where we’ll stay is perched on a hill in the centre of Maniitsoq, overlooking the harbour. The view of the beautiful archipelago and the surrounding mountains is breathtaking.
The hotel has 21 double rooms, all with a sea view as well as a private bathroom (shower and WC). It also has telephone, satellite TV, Wifi Internet connection and minibar.
As for gastronomy, the hotel’s restaurant offers a fine, varied cuisine with different dishes every day. Not to be forgotten is the wine list, with an eclectic selection of quality.
