DAY 1
Arrival at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport where a member of our team will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel with our private bus and time to settle in before a welcome dinner with the guides, who will introduce you to the upcoming programme.
DAYS 2 and 3
First, wild two-day escapade by 4×4 to discover and climb the volcanoes Mutnovsky (2322m) and Gorely (1829m). Gorely, a shield-type volcano, is among the most active in the south of the peninsula.
We’ll camp for one night, in a tent or a mountain hut.
The second evening we’ll return to Petropavlovsk and spend the night in a hotel.
DAY 4
Helicopter excursion to Lake Kuril to observe bears fishing. On the way back, we’ll visit the Ksudach volcano and enjoy the Khodutka hot springs. In the evening we’ll return to the hotel in Petropavlovsk.
DAY 5
We’ll spend this fifth day on the water with a sea kayaking course. An opportunity to share an unforgettable moment with seals and sea lions!
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6
We’ll leave in a 4×4 in the direction of Avachinsky volcano (2741 m). This extremely photogenic volcano, located in the middle of a horseshoe-shaped caldera, is recognizable by its almost perfect cone shape.
Return to the hotel in Petropavlovsk to spend the night.
DAY 7
From Avacha Bay we’ll board the yacht to head to Starichkov Island and observe the numerous bird colonies on its steep cliffs. Further south, in the bays of Vilyuchinskaya, Russkaya, and Listvenichnaya, we’ll attempt to track whales and even killer whales. On the side of Cape Kekurny we’ll find sea lions.
On the way back to Petropavlovsk, we’ll stop in Tihaya Bay for lunch and fishing. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8
A transition day devoted to visiting tourist and cultural sites in Petropavlovsk. We’ll also visit the museum of vulcanology.
DAY 9, 10, 11 AND 12
Departure for a long 4×4 trip, about 560 km, 8 hours, to reach Tolbachinsky Dol. We’ll stop in Milkovo for lunch.
On arrival, we’ll set up the tent camp, have dinner and a walk along the lava flows.
After an early rise and a solid breakfast, we’ll climb the Tolbachik volcano. Afterwards, we return to camp for relaxation and dinner.
The following day we’ll move camp to “The Dead Forest”.
On the way, we’ll take the opportunity to discover the northern cones of Tolbachinsky’s 1975 eruption. This hike and exploration of the volcano’s crater will take about 4 to 5 hours.
Camp will be set up for the night in “The Dead Forest” where we’ll have dinner and relax.
After breakfast we’ll pack up camp before heading back to Petropavlovsk. Lunch will be taken on the way to Milkovo.
DAY 13
Today, a helicopter excursion to the extraordinary Valley of Geysers, with a special visit to the caldera of Uzon. The hot springs of Nalychevo are then a must. We’ll return to our hotel in town for the night.
DAY 14
Joker day (depending upon the weather). Ideally, we’ll visit Khalatirsky beach and the Pacific Ocean coast.
DAY 15
After a visit to the typical Yelizovo market to taste some local products, we’ll drive you to the airport to return to Moscow.
Don’t forget your swim suit, to make the most of the natural hot springs we’ll visit!

NOTE : If you choose to make the entire trip on Saturday, please make sure that your stopover is long enough to make your connection (you may have to change terminal for the flight to Petropavlovsk, etc.).
It is often easier to start the journey on Friday and spend the night in Moscow before heading to Petropavlovsk on Saturday.
Currently, Aeroflot don’t charge extra for ski bags. However, you must register your skis at least 36 hrs before you leave and confirm you’ll be taking skis 24 hrs before your flight.

Foreigners wishing to visit Russsia must first obtain a visa.
In order to obtain a tourist visa for Russia, you must hold a valid passport that will be valid for at least six months after the end of your stay. The passport must have two adjacent empty pages to which the Russian visa will be affixed.
You must also have certification of your repatriation insurance. You can take out this policy directly with Heliski Russia. However, it should be noted that most credit cards already include repatriation insurance if you use the card to pay for your flight ticket and your trip.
You’ll also need a voucher (tourist invitation) which we’ll issue to you, as well as a passport photo of less than 3 months old provided by you.
